Surprise! It's a gig!

...And about bloody time, too!

I'm not going to lie... it's been far, far too long since I've gotten any stage time, and I've really, really missed it.

The move to Tucson was a great one for us - teaching work has come reasonably quickly and we're about to close on a house, so we feel good about having relocated. However, it's been tough to find the time and the personnel to get JPJQ up and swinging again, so I'm unbelievably thrilled to announce that we have a gig coming up next week!

Adam and I are going to play a set with Nico Catenazzo on piano this Tuesday night, July 17th. Thanks to Cassandra Bendickson, who put the whole thing together to feature herself and Adam as the BASSoon DUO, and then opened the second set up to JPJQ Trio! It's going to be super awesome, and I couldn't be happier!
