Ringing (and Swinging) In The New Year!

Happy New Year!

Welcome to 2017, fans, friends and family of JPJQ - we had a fantastic time in 2016, and there's a lot of excitement in store for the new year!

In 2016, we completed our debut album, launched it in Vancouver, BC and Portland, OR. We even received our first payments from iTunes, CDBaby and Spotify - which I will admit, felt pretty amazing - thanks to all those who have supported us by buying, downloading, or streaming our music!

We played some amazing gigs, indoors and out, in wineries, restaurants, tasting rooms, bars, and homes in BC, Kansas and Oregon. Every time, we got great responses, warmly welcoming crowds, and a few more followers on our social media pages. (By the way, if you're not already following us on SoundCloud, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Instagram, search for JPJQJazz and keep up to date on all the news!)

So What's New for 2017?

Having made our Eugene, OR debut the day before New Years' Eve at Territorial Vineyards (go if you haven't been - great wine and consistently wonderful music, not to mention a fantastic vibe and friendly clientelle), JPJQ is totally pumped to return to Eugene in February to play at the Jazz Station - it's one of our most prestigious gigs to date, and we're so honored to be able to play there! We're busy booking dates for the spring, and look forward to having lots more news to share in the weeks to come. We have a lot "in the pipeline" that we're not ready to announce as yet, but stay tuned! (...We may be coming to your town next!)

Unfinished Business

There are still a couple of "Stump the Arranger" songs left to be done, and Adam is working hard to get them ready to debut at our Jazz Cellar date - I'm hoping to be able to share them with you by the end of February.

I'm also working on some more video content for our Youtube Channel... things got pretty busy at the end of 2016 so I haven't been as active as I'd like, but now that recital season, Christmas, and #Snowpocalypse2017 are (I hope, I hope, I hope) over with, I'm going to be able to spend some more time making videos and recordings and sharing them with all of you.

As always, we love receiving comments and suggestions. So if there's a song you think we should cover, or a club we should play at, or anything else - we're here for you and because of you. So feel free to get involved!
